Overview
Synthetic is an application for managing all your synthetic tests. It's where you can analyze the latest and historical execution results of your synthetic tests, create new tests, and adjust the configuration of existing tests. Additionally, you can use the web UI to trigger on-demand execution of synthetic tests.

Get started
Start off by setting up a private location for executing your synthetic tests. Then, create a new monitor using a protocol of your choice.
Details
The Synthetic app allows proactive, around-the-clock checks of application availability and performance by simulating user interactions across environments and geographies. Synthetic supports multiple monitor types, including HTTP monitors for API checks, single-URL browser monitors for page-level testing, browser clickpaths for complex workflows, and NAM monitors for network availability. The app serves as a central control hub, offering a comprehensive view of all monitors with filtering, quick-overview panels, performance metrics, and execution history. Additionally, it supports on-demand executions and integration with Synthetic for Workflows to trigger tests based on event-driven automations, enabling tight release validation and resilience checks. Finally, it facilitates monitoring from both public and private locations, with secure communication architecture via ActiveGate and token-based encryption, ensuring data integrity across the monitoring infrastructure.

It is the place where you can analyze latest and historical execution results of your synthetic tests as well as create new tests and adjust configuration of existing ones. This version fully supports network availability monitors only, while detailed information and configuration for HTTP and browser monitors are temporarily delivered with the Synthetic Classic app. The app is released as on-demand.
