IBM MQ enables the enterprise to connect your monitored applications and services by enabling a secure and reliable message delivery platform. Dynatrace offers remote monitoring of MQ hosts via the IBM MQ ActiveGate extension.
This extension queries your queue managers each minute and retrieves key performance data using PCF commands. We pair IBM MQ metrics with data from OneAgent-monitored hosts, to develop real-time visualizations of the technologies that interact with, and depend on, your MQ instances.
Compatibility information
This ActiveGate extension supports IBM MQ 9.x+ running on Windows, Linux, AIX, z/OS, zLinux, MQ Appliance platforms.
