Markus Spanring

Markus joined Dynatrace in 2024 as a Senior Researcher and is focusing on the enhancement of Davis AI with Large Language Models. He obtained a PhD in particle physics, developing analysis tools that utilize machine learning for Higgs boson measurements.
After finishing his PhD, Markus joined the Institute of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence (IARAI), where he focused on optimization algorithms for deep learning applications. 
Before joining Dynatrace, he was collaborating with the JKU Linz, where he worked on replacing the attention mechanism in GPT models.
