Sr. Manager, Business Analysis, Digital Experience Monitoring

The Business Analyst for Dynatrace’s Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) solutions will identify and evaluate critical business initiatives to acquire, retain, grow and engage our customers. This includes product investments, go-to-market strategy, service quality and customer adoption. They will develop quantitative models for identifying, structuring and interpreting operational data, providing actionable insights and financial visibility to the executive team and board of directors. They will work closely with sales operations, FP&A and other functional areas to understand, enhance and streamline business processes in order to achieve core business objectives.  The candidate will work directly for the SVP & General Manager of Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) to execute the business plan, analyze key initiatives and recommend future actions.  


  • Lead in-depth analysis of the digital experience monitoring business, driving insights from the data and seeking solutions to accelerate growth
  • Build analytical models to influence decision-making and provide action-oriented recommendations
  • Drive accountability for business outcomes through KPI monitoring, visibility and review
  • Develop quantitative understanding of customer behavior to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Frame market opportunity including addressable market, buying patterns, competitive landscape and technology
  • Analyze key trends, insights and risks/opportunities to generate market estimates
  • Renewal tracking: product usage and adoption, revenue and account retention/growth/conversion
  • Reporting: Board reporting, executive staff reporting and analytical modeling
  • Coordinate with FP&A and Sales on bookings and revenue forecast


  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of relevant work experience in SaaS business operations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience solving business problems using advanced Excel modeling
  • Expertise in data mining from various systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) and combining multiple datasets
  • Passionate about data management and the importance of data integrity
  • Strong communications skills with ability to influence in-person, over the phone and in writing
  • Experience working and collaborating with a global results-oriented team
