The Order Management Manager is responsible for managing the EMEA Order Management team which generates orders for Dynatrace customers and partners in EMEA. The individual will manage a team of currently 4 employees and be part of the global Order Management team.

Process Management

  • Manage and drive the process to troubleshoot on all sales orders and assist to identify and execute various enhancements to all order management processes.
  • Manage and ensure compliance to all company and business policies and administer all open sales order and ensure appropriate order flow.
  • Manage communication with Sales in respect of order form creation
  • Ensure all customer orders are processed and shipment of products is done timely
  • Ensure optimal practices for all order management processes
  • Assist with order preparation on an ad-hoc basis when required
  • Assist with user acceptance testing for new features in Salesforce.com
  • Partake as needed in SOX audits and process reviews 

People Management

  • Manage by providing coaching and leadership
  • Review and maintain 1 to 1 meeting cadence
  • Organise training on all new processes for the team
  • Provide career planning & follow-up on progress of set goals
  • Management of all employee issues relating to the team
  • Partner with EMEA HR to ensure that best practice people management is implemented

Reporting

  • Drive a speedy month close and all reporting around it in line with set timelines
  • Evaluate all weekly metrics and analyze all continuous improvement projects and prepare reports for all requests

KPI

  • Work globally with OM leadership to develop and continuously improve the OM process
  • Drive to achieve mutual customer set objectives
  • Achieve all monthly and quarterly targets set

Skills and experience required

  • Qualified by experience or through study
  • Order Management operational experience within software company
  • Preferred but not required prior experience with contract administration
  • Experience of managing a multi-location, multi-cultural Order Management team
  • Systems experience of Salesforce.com
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong & proven Management of Order handling or customer services teams
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive towards effective decision making
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of working relationships
  • Strong individual accountability and execution
  • Is deadline driven with excellent attention to detail
  • Is a self-starter with a pro-active approach
  • Dynamic, flexible individual capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment across up to 16 countries
  • A second European language is a plus
  • Is eligible to work in UK
