A dedicated team - the Open Source Office - takes care of fostering a culture of sharing and shaping the future of Dynatrace as an Open Source company.

The responsibilities of this team include:

  • spreading the word and educating about  open source within Dynatrace
  • defining a strategy on what to release and with which projects we want to engage
  • defining processes for inbound and outbound contributions
  • making sure that all legal requirements are met when we contribute
  • staying in touch with other industry leaders and open source projects to coordinate our contributions
  • working with standardization committees, like w3c and open source organizations like The Linux Foundation
  • aligning our open source work with stakeholders from product management and development
  • working with marketing to tell the world what we are up to
  • spreading the word at conferences

Your first responsibilities will be:

  • being the subject matter expert for all open source inquiries within Dynatrace
  • owning and streamlining all processes around open source
  • keeping all internal and external stakeholders informed
  • actively driving innovation
  • identifying, defining, monitoring and driving strategic goals together with the team

Your profile:

  • degree in IT related fields (e.g. Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering)  
  • more than 2 years of experience as project-, program- or product manager and experience in managing processes
  • proven track record in working with several stakeholders to reach a common goal
  • ideally experience with Open Source communities and the infrastructure behind them
  • interest with legal topics like licensing and compliance
  • willingness to travel to industry hubs, like the Silicon Valley for workshops with industry leaders like Google (10%)
  • hands-on teamplayer and proactive (wo)man of action
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 49,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a market conform salary in line with qualifications and experience.
