Your role at Dynatrace

Our developer experience team delivers a comprehensive app toolkit for the React-based Dynatrace app framework. Through our Node.js CLI, users can seamlessly run, build, and deploy applications to the Dynatrace platform. Our VS Code extension enhances the developer workflow by offering intelligent autocompletion and an intuitive UI for CLI interaction.

Your Job Role:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance our app toolkit to deliver an exceptional developer experience.
  • Support app development teams by providing guidance and assistance with our tooling ecosystem.
  • Proactively participate in code reviews.
  • Optimize and enhance the performance and user experience of our app toolkit.
  • Improve toolkit quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Enjoy collaboration in an Agile way with your team in Linz/Vienna and international teams across Europe.

What will help you succeed

  • Technical study in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Strong foundation in TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Proficient with core web technologies like HTML.
  • Strong focus on software quality, performance, and clean architecture.
  • Passion for developer tooling, particularly Node.js-based solutions.
  • Proficient in writing automated tests; knowledge of Jest and Playwright is a plus.
  • Team player with a proactive approach and high sensibility for quality.
