Your role at Dynatrace

Conduct novel and independent scientific research in the following fields:

• Threat and attack detection.
• Vulnerability and risk analysis.
• Security Posture Management (xSPM).
• Kubernetes and container security.
• Automated adversary emulation.

Day to Day:

• Identify and develop new leading-edge technologies together with the scientific research team and its stakeholders.
• Define use cases and demos to connect novel research ideas with product components.
• Bridge academic research and commercial technology development: Collaborate with our application security team and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the global research community - publish and disseminate research findings in journals, speak and present at conferences.
• Actively take part in scientific and industrial cooperation projects.
• Assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap.

What will help you succeed

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience and/or expertise in at least one of the relevant research topics (as mentioned above)
• Good understanding of cyber and cloud security topics and their impacts on products and customer experience
• Strong publication record (of course in relation to the "academic age")
• Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders
• Excellent English skills (oral and written)
