Your Role on the ActiveGate Team at Dynatrace
As a member of the ActiveGate team, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing one of the core components of the Dynatrace platform. ActiveGate acts as a powerful mediator between customer environments and Dynatrace clusters, handling data ingestion, transformation, and secure communication at scale. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of this critical component.
What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enhance ActiveGate capabilities: Design and implement advanced data ingestion pipelines and communication protocols that power seamless integrations with cloud services, enterprise environments, and third-party systems.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies: Leverage Java 21 to prototype, design, and implement high-performance components.
• Ensure performance and resilience: Optimize ActiveGate for large-scale deployments, ensuring reliability, fault tolerance, and minimal latency under heavy workloads.
• Solve complex technical challenges: Troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues in distributed systems, networking, and data processing.
• Collaborate on innovative solutions: Work closely with product architects and cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and integrations for ActiveGate.
• Mentor and grow the team: Share your expertise by mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Deliver high-quality software: Contribute to testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure the robustness and scalability of ActiveGate.
• Own your work: Take end-to-end ownership of the components and features you develop, using Dynatrace to monitor, analyze, and continuously improve their performance.
• Thrive in an international team: Collaborate with a diverse, global team to enhance productivity, streamline delivery, and improve communication.

What will help you succeed

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend/core development
• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong focus on software quality, performance, and clean architecture
• Experience designing and implementing scalable software architectures.
• Strong ownership mentality with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges
• Good English communication

Compensation

• We offer only employment contracts and a hybrid working setup with 2/3 days per week in the office. This is a permanent role and not a B2B contract.
• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
• Base salary range — starting from 16.400 PLN gross per month
