Sprint 67 brings you the option of ignoring non-urgent JavaScript errors. It’s true that ignoring errors is generally not a great idea. Sometimes however a recurring JavaScript error may be inconsequential to your customers’ end user experience—for example if the error doesn’t affect your product’s functionality or the error is the result of a conflict between two of your advertisement providers. While you should eventually investigate and resolve all JavaScript errors, in many instances doing so might not be your highest priority. In such instances, the new Ignore this JavaScript error feature can help you stay focused on more urgent issues.

To ignore a recurring JavaScript error:

  1. From the ruxit homepage, click the Applications tile.
  2. On the Applications page, select an application that is currently experiencing a problem.
  3. Click JavaScript errors.
  4. Click an error listed in the Top JavaScript errors list.
  5. Click Ignore this JavaScript error on the menu bar.

After ignoring an error, a tally of the subsequent ignored JavaScript errors appears in the Top JavaScript errors list. Click this link to advance to the Ignored JavaScript errors application settings page where you have the option of again showing the error.
