Our management team’s technological expertise is guided by solid leadership values and international business savvy:

Bernd Greifeneder, Chief Executive Officer

Bernd Greifeneder holds four technology patents in the United States. As CEO, Bernd guides dynaTrace's management and R&D efforts. Before joining dynaTrace, Bernd served as CTO of Segue Software, Inc. Under his leadership, tremendously successful products such as SilkPerformer®, SilkCentral™ Performance Manager, and the SilkCentral Quality Optimization Platform™ were developed. The sales of these products count for more than 50% of Segue Software's revenues. Before working at Segue, Bernd developed the first load-testing tool, SQL.Bench.Web, at ARC. It was the development of this product that led to ARC's eventual merger with Segue. Bernd holds a Masters of Science degree from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria.

Mo Garad, Chief Financial Officer

Mo Garad brings over a decade of financial experience to dynaTrace. Prior to joining dynaTrace management, Mr. Garad was at Bain Capital Ventures focused on early stage software investments. Before Bain, he was responsible for strategic planning for the Americas sales organization at VERITAS Software, with $1 Billion in annual revenue. Prior to VERITAS Mr. Garad served as Vice President Strategic Planning/M&A and Vice President Finance for Precise Software Solutions, a pioneer in the Application Performance Management space. While he was a member of senior management at Precise, in 3 years annual revenues grew from $10 million to $100 million. Prior to Precise, Mr. Garad was an investment officer at Allied Capital, a $3.5 B public investment firm.

Sok-Kheng Taing, Chief Marketing Officer & VP EMEA Sales

As CMO, International Sales & Marketing at dynaTrace, Sok-Kheng Taing has proven expertise in marketing and ebusiness sales. Before joining dynaTrace, Sok-Kheng served as Marketing and ebusiness Manager at Büro Handel and Büroprofi GmbH where she spearheaded market entry into Slovenia and Austria with a fledgling ebusiness-sales team. Within three years she increased company revenues by over 50%. Sok-Kheng holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz , Austria.

Michael J. Killoran, Vice President North American Sales

Michael J. Killoran comes to dynaTrace with a 20-year track record of success in the software industry. Mr. Killoran joins dynaTrace from EMC/Network Intelligence where in 3+ years he quadrupled revenues and built the sales organization from start-up to a leader in the Security Event Management sector, culminating with the sale of the company to EMC. Prior to EMC, Mr. Killoran served as Vice President of North American Sales for Precise Software Solutions – a company he helped build from a startup to a $100 million annual revenue public company prior to its sale to VERITAS Software for $609 million. Mr. Killoran has also held Regional Sales Manager positions with BMC, Compuware, and Siemens-Medical.

Daniel H. Germain, Vice President Customer Support

Daniel H. Germain joins dynaTrace from EMC/Network Intelligence with over 12 years of executive level customer service experience. While at Network Intelligence, Mr. Germain was responsible for their global customer support, professional services and systems engineering groups, and helped drive strong customer satisfaction resulting in high repeat sales contributing to 11 consecutive quarterly revenue attainments. Previously, Mr. Germain was Vice President of Customer Support for applications performance management leader Precise Software Solutions. In nine years as part of founding management, Mr. Germain built and ran the support team recognized as Strong Positive by Gartner and systems engineering team through the high growth years, successful IPO and subsequent acquisition by VERITAS Software in 2003. Mr. Germain also brings field experience from Open Data, Information Builders and NYNEX in a variety of technical roles.

Hubert Gerstmayr, Vice President Finance and Legal

Serving as VP Finance & Legal at dynaTrace, Hubert Gerstmayr brings substantial experience in sales and finance. Before his work with dynaTrace, Hubert managed subsidiaries of FactorBank AG and was responsible for developing new financial products. His career began in the financial department at LKW Walter International AG and continued with the sales organization at Prisma Kreditversicherungs AG. Hubert holds a Masters in Business Administration from Johannes Kepler University in Linz , Austria.

Ben Nye

Ben Nye is a Managing Director at Bain Capital Ventures. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Ben was a Senior Vice President at VERITAS Software. Previously, he was COO and CFO of Precise Software Solutions, and helped build Precise from a $10 M revenue private company to a $100 M revenue public company prior to its sale to VERITAS. Earlier in his career Ben was a Principal at Allied Capital, a $3.5 B public investment firm. He also worked in the U.S. Treasury Department for Treasury Secretaries Lloyd Bentsen and Robert Rubin, and as a consultant for Mercer Management Consulting. Ben graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School, where he graduated with honors.

Shimon Alon

Shimon Alon was the Chief Executive Officer of Precise Software Solutions, a leading provider of application performance management. Following the acquisition of Precise by VERITAS Software Corporation in June 2003, Mr. Alon served as an executive advisor to VERITAS. Prior to Precise Software, Mr. Alon held a number of positions at Scitex and its subsidiaries including President and Chief Executive Officer of Scitex America and Managing Director of Scitex Europe. Mr. Alon holds a degree from the Executive Management Program at the Harvard Business School.

Jack Sweeney

Jack Sweeney is a Senior Executive at EMC. Mr. Sweeney joined EMC from Network Intelligence where he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer. In two years, he successfully led Network Intelligence from a promising start-up to the market-proven leader within the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) sector, culminating in the sale of the company to EMC for $175 million in September, 2006. Prior to Network Intelligence, Mr. Sweeney was President and Chief Executive Officer of Stargus, where he successfully led the company to its acquisition by C-Cor, Inc. Prior to Stargus, he spent four years as a General Partner with Prism Venture Partners, a $1.1 billion early stage venture capital firm. Mr. Sweeney also served as Chief Executive Officer at EPiCON, Inc., and Chief Executive Officer at Bell Atlantic Network Integration (BANI).

Bain Capital Ventures is the Boston-based venture capital arm of Bain Capital, whose affiliates manage over $40 billion of assets. Founded in 1984, Bain Capital and its affiliates have invested in over 230 companies with such notable successes as Doubleclick, Gartner Group and Staples. Our history of investing in early stage companies also dates back to 1984, having made over 105 venture-stage investments since inception.
